On 22nd September 2024, SingCham Shanghai, in collaboration with MayCham China in Shanghai and InaCham, hosted an International Chamber Badminton Tournament in Shanghai. The event attracted nearly 150 participants and supporters. Organized by SingaCham SHA and co-organized by MayCham China in Shanghai and InaCham, the event was sponsored by ANDE Capital, GuTianShan, Yonex and Mr Henry Cheng.
2024年9月22日，中国新加坡商会上海联手中国马来西亚商会上海办事处及中国印度尼西亚商会举办了一场国际商会羽毛球联赛。比赛吸引了将近150名选手和支持者参加。本次活动由中国新加坡商会主办，中国马来西亚商会上海办事处、中国印度尼西亚商会协办、桉得资本、古田山、Yonex、钟汉杰先生赞助。
Upon arriving at the venue in the morning, the team members enthusiastically began their warm-up routines. Following that, the host delivered a speech to officially kick off the competition.
早上抵达场馆后，各球队队员就积极开始热身。之后由主持人致辞，吹响了比赛的号角。
The matches officially commenced, with five groups engaging in fierce battles. Meanwhile, the spectators outside showed no hesitation, cheering loudly and rallying to support the players on the court.
比赛正式开始，五个小组分别展开激烈的角逐。同时场外的观众也毫不示弱，纷纷呐喊，为场上球员击鼓加油。
Our student volunteers were also actively recording the match scores.
我们的学生志愿者也在积极记录比赛得分。
After the first half of the game, the players and staff came to the restaurant for lunch.The supplier for whis lunch is Heng Heng Kopitiam included Hainanese chicken rice and curry chicken. After a morning of physical exertion, the food became even more delicious.
上半场比赛结束后，球员以及工作人员来到餐厅用餐。这次午餐的供应商是恒兴咖啡店，餐食包括海南鸡饭和咖喱鸡。经过一上午的体力消耗，食物变得更加美味。
After lunch, the afternoon saw even more intense matches with the men’s doubles and mixed doubles competitions. Meanwhile, players, their families, and volunteers took part in the sport by trying out Yonex badminton rackets and enjoying a fun round of play.
午餐过后，男双、混双比赛的角逐更加激烈。同时球员与家庭成员以及志愿者们也利用试打的Yonex羽毛球拍参与到羽毛球运动中。
It is worth looking forward to that the Isaac Chan, Deputy Consul General of Singapore in Shanghai, Prof Sum, SingCham Shanghai Badminton Captain, Mr. Berlianto Situngkir, Consul General of Indonesia in Shanghai, Tohap Martin, InaCham Badminton Captain, MayCham China in Shanghai Chairman Yap Chi Hui, MayCham China in Shanghai Secretary General Raymond Hong, also participated in the badminton league and put on a wonderful exhibition match.
