乔迁新址，共创未来：中国新加坡商会上海新办公室盛大开幕
15th February marked the grand opening of SingCham Shanghai’s new office, a significant milestone in SingCham Shanghai’s mission to foster economic and cultural ties between Singapore and China. Distinguished guests, such as industry leaders and members of different Chambers of Commerce and Industry in China, graced the opening ceremony.
中国新加坡商会上海于2月15日隆重举行了新办公室的开幕仪式。活动汇聚众多嘉宾、行业领袖以及在上海的新加坡人与国际商界人士参加。这一盛事标志着中国新加坡商会上海在促进新中经济与文化联系方面迈出了重要一步。
Also in attendance were Mr. Peter Tan, Singapore’s Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Chua Teng Hoe, Singapore’s Consul-General in Shanghai, Mr. Ong Tze Guan, Chairman of SingCham, Mr. William Chang, Chairman of SingCham Shanghai and Mr. Jonathan Wang, CEO of Singapore Hangxin Real Estate Group.
新加坡共和国驻华大使陈海泉先生，新加坡共和国驻沪总领事蔡簦合先生，中国新加坡商会会长王子元先生，中国新加坡商会上海会长曾广仁先生以及新加坡航新地产集团首席执行官王景骐先生也亲临现场。
“SingCham Shanghai plays a vital role in supporting our Singaporean business community in Shanghai and beyond. With the inauguration of our new office here at Xuhui Gardens, we are excited to embark on a new chapter of growth and development for SingCham Shanghai,” our emcee Ms. Tan Lee Lee highlighted in her opening remarks.
活动开始时，主持人陈荔荔女士表示：“中国新加坡商会上海在支持我们在上海及周边地区的新加坡商界方面发挥着至关重要的作用。随着我们在徐汇苑的新办公室正式启用，我们满怀期待地开启了中国新加坡商会上海成长与发展的新篇章。”
The event continued with a welcome address by Mr. William Chang, Chairman of SingCham Shanghai. He mentioned, "The opening of this office marks a new chapter in SingCham Shanghai's development. It is not only a workplace for our colleagues but also a vital platform for deepening economic and trade cooperation between China and Singapore, as well as fostering friendly exchanges between the two countries."
在致辞的环节，中国新加坡商会上海会长曾广仁先生表示，“办公室乔迁新址，意味着中国新加坡商会上海将迈入发展的新阶段。这不只是一个办公场所，更是深化中新之间的经济与贸易合作，促进两国友好交流的重要平台。”
This was followed by an opening address by Mr. Ong Tze Guan, Chairman of SingCham. He mentioned the role of SingCham in helping Singaporean companies enter the Chinese market and expressed his appreciation to Mr. William Chang and the SingCham Shanghai Exco team for their dedication. Mr. Ong Tze Guan concluded his speech with heartfelt Chinese New Year greetings, wishing everyone good health, prosperity, and a successful year ahead.
随后，中国新加坡商会会长王子元先生致开幕辞。他提到中国新加坡商会在帮助新加坡企业进入中国市场方面所发挥的作用，并对曾广仁先生及中国新加坡商会上海执行委员会团队的奉献表示感谢。王会长以诚挚的新年祝福结束了他的演讲，祝愿大家身体健康、事业兴旺、新年顺利。
Mr. Peter Tan, Singapore’s Ambassador to China, then took the stage to deliver a congratulatory speech. He expressed his delight at seeing so many old and new friends in attendance, which was a testament to the broad support Singcham enjoyed. Mr. Peter Tan emphasized, “The government has our part to play, but day-to-day on the ground, businesses are also important to take the lead and carry our bilateral relations forward.”
新加坡共和国驻华大使陈海泉先生随后登台致贺辞。他对众多新老朋友莅临现场表示由衷的喜悦，这充分体现了中国新加坡商会得到广泛的支持。陈海泉先生强调：“政府有其职责所在，但在日常实践中，企业同样肩负着引领和推动双边关系向前发展的重要使命。”
"The launch of this new office is a new milestone in SingCham Shanghai’s development over the past five years, and it has been a pleasure to work with successive generations of SingCham Exco to advance bilateral commercial cooperation."
此外，新加坡共和国驻沪总领事蔡簦合先生对中国新加坡商会上海执行委员会成员会表达了深深的赞赏：“新办公室的启用是中国新加坡商会上海在过去五年发展后的新里程碑，非常高兴与历代的新加坡商会执行委员会成员携手促进两地的企业合作。”
Mr. Jonathan Wang, CEO of Singapore Hangxin Real Estate Group, also delivered a congratulatory address:

The event highlight was the lion dance performance and ribbon-cutting ceremony, led by the distinguished guests, inaugurating the new office. After the official proceedings, guests were able to tour the new office while networking.
