Change of SingCham Shanghai Secretary-General

This is to inform that Mr Kent Lau, SingCham Shanghai Secretary-General, has tendered his resignation from the Executive Committee ("Exco") (including his position as the Secretary-General) of SingCham Shanghai as he needs to take care of his family in Singapore. 

Mr Lucas Loh, SingCham Shanghai Chairman, nominated Mr William Chang, the existing Vice-Chairman, as the new Secretary-General.  Mr Henry Cheng, Vice-Chairman of SingCham Shanghai, second Lucas' nomination.

The resignation of Mr Kent Lau and the appointment of Mr William Chang as the new Secretary-General has been approved by all the members of the Exco of SingCham Shanghai and it will become effective from 1 December 2022.

Mr William Chang will concurrently serve as Vice-Chairman of the Exco of SingCham Shanghai.

The Chairman extends his thanks and best wishes to Mr Kent Lau and his family.  The Chairman wishes to express his sincere appreciation to Kent for his contribution to SingCham during the election period and past support towards SingCham’s activities.

The Chairman also thanks Mr William Chang for accepting the additional role and wish for his continual contribution to support the development of SingCham Shanghai for its members.
